BSSL does not do staging anywhere in the University Union. For stage questions for an event in the University Union, please speak with the University Union Operations Manager: office UU-205W, phone number (607) 777-3300.
Staging
BSSL rents stage and roof solutions from outside vendors. The decks are 8′ x 4′, and can be assembled in rectangular increments of those numbers. Stages are billed by base price + man hours, meaning that the price varies based on how long it takes to build and take down the stage. Factors determining price include size, location, etc.
Our most common stage dimensions are as follows:
24′ wide X 16′ deep X 3 or 4′ high
32′ or 28′ wide X 24′ Deep X 4′ high
36′ or 44′ wide X 32′ deep X 4 ‘high
BSSL can also acquire barricade for crowd control needs. We can acquire:
- Steel Barricade
- Aluminum Barricade
- Bike Rack Barricade
Large Events
We recommend that you speak directly with our Technical Director at least a month (preferably more) prior to your event to plan out your equipment needs. Shoot us an email to set up a meeting.
